FAQ
Do you make fondant or novelty cakes?
I specialise in buttercream, therefore all my cakes are buttercream! I use fondant for some of my decorations on my cakes and cupcakes but I don’t make novelty cakes where you would traditionally see fondant covered cakes or figurines. However, I can work with your ‘theme’ to create something beautiful!
How much do your bespoke cakes cost?
My pricing guide can be found here.
How far in advance do I need to book?
I would always recommend for you to book as far in advance as possible, 4-6 weeks would be ideal! Please get in touch to check my availability if you have a date in mind.
How should I store my cake?
All my cakes are buttercream, and therefore must be stored in a fridge until you need to display the cake for your event. Allow the cake to come to room temperature to enjoy it at its best!
How should I transport my cake?
Your cake should travel on a flat surface, either in the passenger side footwell or boot. The car should be clear to ensure nothing will fall onto or damage your cake. Your air conditioning should be on throughout your journey. When collecting your cake, I will always assist you to place your cake into your car!
Do you make cakes for allergen requirements?
Unfortunately, I don’t currently make any cakes for different allergies or intolerances e.g dairy free, gluten free.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes, for all orders I take a 50% deposit, then the final balance is due the day of your collection.
What if I need to cancel my cake?
When making your booking a 50% non refundable deposit is required. Should you unfortunately have to cancel, it may be possible to transfer your deposit to another date, subject to my availability.
Can you post your treats?
Unfortunately, I don't currently offer postals!
